Sorry I've not been in touch before.  I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday and the villa and Yahsi were lovely, meeting our expectations.
 
Gem is a great and generous guy, making our stay very enjoyable by showing us the sights and joining us for dinner.  A lovely guy!
 
We thought you might like some feedback and the only fault we found was that the property lacked shade (if you can call it a fault).  Cushions are a big thing in Turkey and it would have been great to laze on them by the pool decking area.  This is really feedback and certainly not a criticism as i know you've only just started renting this property out and as i said we had a great time.

Dear Steve & Sarah

We have just returned from a lovely week at Little Gem. We had brilliant weather and the villa was just as described. We had intended to hire a car but didn't bother because the Dolmus's were so good. We all enjoyed Turkey enormously & it was so cheap! We did find a tortoise but no wild boar!

You asked for comments on the villa so here they are:-

The key box outside was a great idea. There were 3 couples in our party & we could all go out independently & not worry about access.

We were very grateful for the provisions you left in the cupboard & the fridge especially as we arrived quite late in the evening (not that the shops ever seem to close there!)

The transfer worked very well both ways.

Unfortunately we broke 3 glasses. We told Cem but he said not to worry. It would be useful to have some plastic "picnic" glasses to take outside to the pool.

We thought a water jug & a few mixing bowls would have been useful.

It might be worth getting some sort of shade down by the pool for the high summer. It was pleasantly hot (32 ish) while we were there but I guess it gets a lot hotter in July & August and there is no shade at all around the pool. We tried using the parasol by the table but because of the breeze it just blew inside out. As I say, it didn't bother us at all but could be more of a problem when it gets really hot.

You could add in your welcome notes that the prices at Bodrum airport are astronomical so take your own sandwiches for the return!
