Jutting into the Aegean, the Bodrum Peninsula lies opposite the Greek Island of Kos and between Turkey's brasher resort areas of Kusadasi and Marmaris. With its marinas, clubs and smartly dressed clientele from Istanbul, the feel of the peninsula is French Riviera with an exotic twist.

The cuisine, the bazaars and the hammams are inherently oriental, while the culture is an easygoing variety of Islamic: the intriguing mix of mosques and bikini-lifestyle is unabrasively achieved.

Development is carefully monitored, and much of the peninsula retains an intrinsic charm. Strict building regulations prevent the hi-rise buildings and no external building work is allowed form May through to October.

Inland there are pine-clad hills, and narrow roads; coastal towns and villages remain low rise, and are dotted with flowering bougainvillea.

Offering pretty villages and secluded bays. Crystal clear waters for divers and swimmers, safe beaches for children and nightlife in the main town of Bodrum.

Although some beaches can be viewed as under whelming, many of the hotels have wooden jetties, furnished with white umbrellas, sun loungers and scattered cushions, with ladders into the glorious blue water.

We can arrange Airport transfers.

A private car (Not a yellow cab) will await you on arrival with your name plate for easy identification. If there are five or more passengers we will arrange a people carrier at a small extra charge (£10 / YTL 25). The Driver will deliver you to the front door and take your luggage in to your holiday home. This service will cost you no more than a public Yellow cab, approx £50 (YTL 125).

We strongly advise you to take this service, especially for Koyunbaba, in Gumusluk as it is so remote and tranquil.

Car Hire
